The diesels sounded like they were wound up pretty tight. I thought diesels were supposed to be low revving, high torque engines.

Imagine that most redlines for diesels are around 4500 RPM stock. These guys really pushed their engine and it ran away to 8,200 RPM with 150 pounds of boost. 1,800 HP. It's a wonder they didn't end up in another state. See: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IW3ujpMytoI KA-BOOM!

When chassis Dynos came out, I had nothing good to say about the configuration. Well that video surely proves a point.

Red GT-500 looks to have broken the dyno.

The owner of Fire Punk Diesel is Lavon Miller and he has been a winner time and time again in the Diesel Truck competitions where the truck need to pull a load, drag race and truck pull. They are tested for fuel mileage and horse power. They are constantly testing new products and new ideas to. Their Golden nugget transmission is a highly regarded option for the weak Chrysler transmissions in the Cummins powered Dodges.
