What’s this for?
I have 1969 Firebird and bought the car in “some assembly required” condition. I have 2 of these pieces and have no idea what they are for.

Is your dash off?

It’s not from a 69. It reminds me of a 3rd gen ground effects retainer.

Yes, the dash is off.

Doesn't look like 69 part to me. How long is the part?

Here is what I was thinking, but it's for a 2nd Gen:
Dash Bracket Holds some wiring looms under the dash. Thought possibly 69 used something like it also.

The piece is roughly 10 inches long.
I wouldn’t be surprised if it didn’t belong to this car. I’ve had a handful of items that were clearly for later model cars in my random parts bucket. I thought this one might be “important” since there are 2 of them. |

Since there are 2 of them, possibly a dash duct holder thing-a-majing (tm)?

I’ve got few more parts that I can’t figure out. Any guesses on what these are for?

Thanks! Got those installed last night. I put the cable bracket on the left side—seemed a more natural fit there. Still don’t what the other parts are for. Parts 1&2 are plastic. I initially thought they were door mirror mounts, but they are too big and wrong shape for the 1969 mirrors.

#3 actually goes on passengers side centre 2 bolts with the u shape facing up and the vacuum lines from the thermostatic valve in the water crossover on the pass front of intake run through it .

Oops! I don’t have a valve in mine. It has a temp sensor for an aftermarket gauge the previous owner installed. What does the thermostatic valve do? Is there a diagram showing what the vacuum lines go to?
