Barron, Wisconsin is pretty local to the Twin Cities so it's been a big news item here all along. When I turned on the 10pm news last night and they announced she was safe I could hardly believe it.
There was a news conference this morning, but they didn't have a lot of information yet - they did name the guy who they arrested; he's 21 years old and had no previous record of doing anything. They've scheduled another news conference at 4pm to announce any updates, it will be broadcast live on Minnesota Public Radio if anyone is interested. |
