Default Different Alternator P/N for A.I.R. equipped car

Was there a different Alternator for smog cars with the A.I.R. system?
I have a 67 Fremont Convertible GTO with A.I.R. December 66 build. NO A/C.

I show only the 55 amp alternator 1100770 as being used with A.I.R..

Not sure why, maybe had different pulley?

Checking again, it looks like the 1100768 37 amp alternator may have been used with A.I.R. also.
(standard was 1100704)

Thank you for the excellent info John. I don't think that question has been raised before.
