Default Warpath Racing Products I-Beam Race Rods 1200HP

Warpath Racing Products introduces a Race Ready I-beam connecting rod strong enough for a 1200+ HP drag race car, yet affordable enough for your high performance street car. That’s why we’ve made them standard equipment on our Street Sleeper 495” Injuns. These state of the art 4340 chromoly steel I-beam rods are designed for the popular 2.200 rod journals and profiled to provide extra block clearance for today’s long stroke crankshafts. The side beams are fully polished eliminating stress risers, ultrasonic and x-rayed tested for cracks, then stress relieved and fully shot peened. Pins are .990 diameter full floating. Rod bolts are 7/16 chromoly steel or choose optional ARP rod bolts. Available in 6.700 or 6.800 center to center length at 869 grams. $599 per weight matched set. Just curious on the weights of the 6.7 rods... I have H-beams now and the rotating assembly has already been balanced... BUT if they are significantly lighter than the H-Beams I may have to make the move...

++ Added, just checked my 6.7 Scat H-Beam rods and they weigh in at 816 grams. Is the 869 and accurate weight for the Warpath rods? I thought the I-beams would have been lighter weight.

SPEED SAFE, NICK

We had to "weigh" strength -vs- weight and we could have maybe saved some weight but we didn't want to sacrifice any strength. These aren't "stock replacement i-beams" they're beefy Race Rods that will continue to serve you as your HP increases as it always does! 869 grams is accurate on the 6.800 rods. Still waiting on a shipment of 6.700s but they won't be much different. Thanks for your interest.

No doubt, valid points to consider no doubt. I wasn't trying to talk them down at all. The look very stout and I have no doubt in my mind that they would be a great rod for the big boys making 1000+hp...

The WP rods look like a very high quality product!

Bump back to the top!
