RETROFIT TO R-143
In retrofitting a 1968 GTO using A-6 compressor, has anyone experience any leaking problems from clamp type fittings. Drier,o-rings,and POA valve will be upgraded. Of course I meant R-134

I would avoid hose clamps. Most NAPAs will make hose assemblies. If you're not worried about originality I would change the compressor to R4 instead of A6. Then change to accumulator and eliminate expansion valve and or POA. It's a really easy conversion. But that's just me.

You really need to change the hoses to the new type with a liner. The old ones are porous.
