Need standard crank pulley for ATI damper.
I am trying to find a 3 bolt crank pulley that fits a Pontiact ATI damper but is not an under drive pulley. I have a 2 grooves BBC pulley but that does not extend enough and I would need a spacer. Any suggestions appreciated.

Extend enough to match the water pump pulley, or line up with the other accessories?
More info needed, please. ps I have been running ATI Dampers (best made) for many years. The water pump pulley location is key, the rest can be shimmed. Tom V.

I to have the ATI balancer. I agree best one made. I just took my previous 4 hole pulley and aligned it on the balancer and drilled 3 new holes. Has been fine. I had a custom spacer made for shimming my water pump pulley. I also installed a MSD crank trigger which caused me to shim everything forward. I believe Butler sells a 3 hole pulley that Ram air restoration sells or manufactures. One thing to watch is when you install the balancer, I had to clearance the timing cover a bit. |

Ram Air Restoration has factory aluminum pulleys they can drill for 3 holes . Before that I also had a stock one I drilled. I found a SBC ring(like the one on our balancers on the outside) and used it for a template.
And yes the timing cover will need clearancing.

I ended up drilling three new holes but due to proximity I had to use the allen head bolts and notch the washers. All good now and working well.

Hi Darby: I had to remove material of the timing tab and a bit of the bottom tabs. I drilled a couple 6/32 blind holes and tapped them then had my son make me a custom pointer for TDC.
