My kind of library!
My wife and I started a mini library system in our small town, each with its own theme. We live rural, and there is a library in the small town west of us, but with limited hours. So we started putting them up around our small town. A guy we know back in the city makes them to order, then I just find a place around town to put them. The newest one we got is going to be for us guys, so figured I’d stock it with hot rod and motorcycle type mags, along with tool and other “guy” things. This one is my favorite yet!
I just have to wait for it to warm up so I can sink a post. Sorry, I can’t flip the photos on my phone, as it won’t let me.

In our town they get a surprising amount of use. We started with one, as an experiment, and this will be number 5.
Took another shot of the garage.

Neat! There are a number of little free libraries around my neighborhood, I'll periodically check them out and pick up books or drop off ones I've already read. They tend to have more books for kids and women, so having one for gear heads is a good idea.
You can register them at the national website, and they'll put it on a searchable map so other people can find them. https://littlefreelibrary.org |
