Default Need Old Parts Book Lookup

Brad Yost (Sirrotica) suggested I put a call out and see if someone with access to the old parts book could look up and see if the separate P-O-N-T-I-A-C letters on the tailgate of a 1965 Catalina Safari might be the same part number(s) as for a 1966 tailgate. Ames carries letters for the '66 only, but couldn't tell me if they were different from a year earlier. There were so few changes on the two model years that I'm holding out hope they might be the same.

Thank you.

If I'm reading the chart correctly the chart section doesn't show any letters for the wagons. Here's the model numbers for both 1965 and 1966 (same model numbers for both years):

5235...........Catalina Safari wagon 6 passenger
5245...........Catalina Safari wagon 9 passenger
6235...........Bonneville Safari wagon 6 passenger (no 9 passenger offered)

Chart covers:
5237...........Catalina Sport Coupe
5239...........Catalina four Door Vista
5267...........Catalina Convertible
6237...........Bonneville Sport Coupe
6239...........Bonneville Four Door Vista
6267...........Bonneville Convertible
6657...........Grand Prix
42xx...........Tempest/GTO

Would there be anywhere else in the chart that might list the wagon letters? I see what you are saying that the letters listed have different part numbers for 1965 and 1966 for the models listed.

Default Old parts book lookup

I have a book dated 10/76. It doesn't list 65-66. It states 67 to 70 is the same. Group 12.180 if you can find and older book.
