sway bar bushings
Anyone know a part number for 1-1/4" rubber front sway bar bushings that fit original brackets? Bought some ac delco bushings a while back and they were way too tall couldn't get the bracket back on the frame.

I had the same problem recently. Ended up just going with the Energy Suspension bushings and aftermarket brackets. I saved my OEM brackets in case I ever want to go back to stock.
Some info. here; https://forums.maxperformanceinc.com...d.php?t=857634

Went through this a month ago & I do NOT need Energy Suspension crap... been there!
Ended up finding black rubber front bushings through local independent NAPA. O'Effys manager told me they have pretty much dumped MOOG & ordered black rubber ones for me in their Precision line. Even gave me a flier on their move to Precision chassis parts. unfortunately, ordered the part # for black rubber bushings & they kept coming in a light blue color/we kept sending them back to the warehouse.

Every rubber sway bar bushing I've seen for years is too tall. I ended up just shaving them off on the flat side till they would fit. Still very tight, but at least they wouldn't strip out the frame trying to put them in.

after checking my parts book which is what I should have done from the start, the correct rubber bushing for the 1 1/4" front bar is 472118. They fit perfectly to the original brackets and even better yet they are all over ebay for dirt cheap.

What is the GM part number for a 68 A body with the standard sway bar?
All of the aftermarket pieces are too tall.
