Default Carter Quadrajet - Show Condition Restored - 400 & 455

Quadrajet Carburetor
Pontiac 400 & 455
4987s 3507
Professionally Show Quality Restored

1970 Pontiac 400 Automatic quadrajet replacement carburetor. This is a Carter replacement for all 1970 Pontiac with 400 or 455 engines and all trans. This carburetor was professionally restored by Custom Rebuilt Carburetors of N.J. and will also work for other Pontiac applications. This replacement carburetor has been completely disassembled and boiled out. The carburetor was then acid etched like an original factory carburetor. There are no painted parts on this restored carburetor. All of the hardware was then re-plated back to its original finish and the carburetor was then assembled to factory specifications using all new parts and components. The throttle shaft was line reamed and brass bushings were installed to eliminate that lean idle miss you get when the throttle shafts are loose. All of the main wells are epoxy coated. This carburetor has been wet flow tested and is ready to be bolted on with little or no adjustments to be made.

Includes gaskets and brand new mounting hardware.

$725 - Plus shipping from Avon NY 14414

Anyone interested at $650 plus shipping and I will include a brand new in the box Carter fuel pump and Ames fuel line?

The 4987s Carter Qjets were used on 1968 to 1970 V8s when Rochester could not keep up with Production

This carb was rebuilt and restored by a very reputable shop and is bolt on ready

Anyone interested at $625 for the carb with the new pump?

This is a high end rebuild and restoration by a well known shop.

They just sold one on eBay with the exact specs for $775

My loss on this is your gain
