65 gp convert.
project needing most everything touched in one way or another, pics go from newest to oldest.
Will eventually get my hurst wheels put on.

One day it'll all be redone, that wheel is getting thin.
doing something a little different with the dash
going to the exhaust shop
Everything is hooked, just need to fix a valve train problem at this point.
engine installed xmas day, getting stuff put back on
love the arp stainless hardware, had to cut down a few bolts to cover everything but got most of it, didn't come with the right size for the fuel...
used a slick hei distributor built into an original points unit by daves small body hei's
pretty much done and ready to install, love those HO long branch manifolds.
progress engine compart allmost done, booster will be changed out for dual later on down the road
engine ready to fire in parts car, then pull it and seal it all up, clean and detail, install in the convert.
rear panel and bumper off parts car added, still need to figure out how to mount the trunk piece, looking real good, this shot tells me that pontiac...
cleaned bumpers off the parts car, looks pretty good from 10 feet anyway, they will eventually have to be redone.
66' setup, block off plates for the end carbs to get the middle one running good in the parts car.
starting to clean and paint engine bay, will just be rattle can flat black for ease of maintenance.
with gp parts car, getting ready to swap engine, bumpers, other small parts at co-workers shop, very, very nice place to work.
God, i hate those silver painted bumpers, the 455 didn't work out then a 65' GP running parts car came up for sale on craigslist, bought it for...
interior out of a GP parts car, tilt wheel, a/c dash bezel, want to add power windows in the future.
pulled out crap blown head gasket 75' 400 2 barrel, trying to locate a 455 pull out.

just added restored 8 lugs and firestone 7.75x14 redlines, looks much, much better, they'll do until the hurst wheels are complete.
taken at previous owners home before loading up.
car loaded up in Oklahoma city before the delivery to Galveston Tx.
