AttaGirlStace's 1965 Bonneville
Pics of the 1965 Bonne that my grandpa has given me to restore. :)
This weekend's project: melted and removed about an inch of ice, removed all the nasty crap under the seat, ground off some rust, removed drain...
The uck that greeted me when I removed the back seat (no build sheet or seat belts here)
Passenger side front fender rust. Damn you, rust!!!
Driver's side front fender rust over the wheel well. The rust is my biggest concern... especially where the metal's gone and there are curves to...
Driver's side door
Overview of passenger side door/headliner condition.
Front seats are ok, but are torn in a few places.
More photos of the rear dash and headliner. Needs some work.
The back seat is in immaculate condition as far as upholstery is concerned. Obviously had some problems with the rear window leaking.
The dash is in pretty good shape except for the wood inlay. The steering wheel is cracked (not sure what to do about that?). Carpet needs replaced.
Me after taking her for a drive for the first time!
That's one big rear end. :)
Here she is after getting her tires pumped up, right before starting.
