Began work on this garaged car in 2010. New carpet, firewall thru rear of trunk. Converted front brake drums to disc, shocks replaced. Converted 14" to 15" wheels with new T/As. Dash repaired & upholstered, rear package deck fabricated. Cleaned and painted engine bay, replaced front windshield and resealed rear window.
2014/2015 - Complete engine rebuild, 2bbl to 750 cfm Q-Jet, Comp Cams Street-Strip Cam & Lifter set, converted to dual exhaust with Flowmaster Super 44s. Converted split bench seat to bucket seats (1967 El Camino seats) upholstered to match original rear seat pattern. Converted column shift to floor Hurst V Matic 3. |
