Howdy folks...need your opinion. I bought a 69 Catalina for parts for my 69 Bonneville. I am now done with the car, and am trying to figure out if it will be more cost effective to part the car or sell it whole.

Currently it is a running, driving car (400 V8) with disk brakes. It has some rust but is really straight...no panels have dents! I think selling whole I might be able to get $500 for it. Would I get more if I parted it out? It only has 68K miles and has disk brakes. No other real options. Motor runs good with no funny noises or smoke. Tranny shifts great. I drove it 150 miles when I bought it with no problems.

Onions solicited!

Thanks,
Joe

i've seen the disc brake setups like yours go on ebay for close to your asking price for the whole car. engine and tranny might get you another 250-350. really it all depends on if you want to keep the car in your yard , take the time to pull parts , wrap them ship them etc.a lot of time involved but you will make more money this way. it sounds like a decent car. might make someone a good project car.if i were closer i might be interested myself. if you do decide to part it keep me in mind as there are a few things i could use for my 70.
