1968 Full-Size Pontiac
There were several "new" Custom Sport Steering Wheels discovered over the past year or so by a swap meet dealer who paid a retired parts manager approx. $25 each. Most were sold for $500 each.
These were actually new car take-off wheels due to a warranty problem. There was a Serv.Bulletin released for early '68 Custom Sport wheels due to a defective weld.

It is very VERY rare to find an NOS wood wheel, but when they do turn up they all seem to be the 68 big car wheel. It is a cross between a 67 and a 68 GTO wheel. It has the diameter and depth of a 67 but has the dechromed spokes (without an insert or rivets on back) like a 68 GTO.
