Here is a piece I havent seen before. Im betting there are a lot of board members who can guess what it is.

To clarify, everyone knows its a rod. What motor was it destined for?

it IS a RA V forging

It started out as a Ford Tunnel Port forging which Pontiac adapted to the Ram Air V engine. There were several different slight differences over
the run of rods, (weights, beam thickness, etc).
Unless you have 8 good rods (all of the same type)
it is a royal PIA to balance them.
