I'll be heading to california next week, can anyone tell me where the closest track is from Modesto? I might have a day or two to watch a little racing!

Starting on Wednesday is the NHRA Finals at Pomona, CA. Race will start on Wednesday and go to Sunday.

It would probably take you about 5 hours to drive it. Easy drive as it is freeway all the way.

Thanks for the info, I'll be out there for 3 weeks so maybe something would be better than nothing.

Sacramento Raceway is about an hour and 20 minutes north of Modesto. Infineon (Sears Point) is about 2 hours west. Infineon does a preety good wednesday night bracket race- although in the last few years more and more ricers have been showing up. Sacramento has their Sat. test and tune and wednesday night race- but again a lot of imports on the weekdays. Car count on sat T&T averages 50-60 cars. If I hadn't put my firebird into the wall last week I'd be out there again soon!!!
