i would like to know whats the input here about deciding what to get here for my car,in order to get rid of flexing off the hole, currently i have stock suspension 4 link, boxed upper&lower control arms with polygraphite bushings(not adjustable bars) lakewood 70/30 shocks, and stock spring on driver side and 3/4 ton truck spring from junkyard (no specs i can provide) on passsenger side ,the car luches hard 1.40 60foot times in high altitude track where i race ,but watching slow motion video of it ,i can see all the loading and unloading it does, where it can be improved .
so i was opting for either Moroso trick rear springs(where they mention, elinates the need for air bags- calibrated for correct aplication)or install air bag on passenger side http://forums.performanceyears.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_confused.gif
any thoughts greatly appreciated http://forums.performanceyears.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_redface.gif

A friend of mine used to run a a body and had similar problems. He ended up installing the air bag and putting stops in the front suspension.I think he put 3 inches of travel in the front end.Brian

Datapoint: I used Cargo Coils & airbags capped at outside pressure, to get 1.71 60foots below: HIS

I would go with the airbag. I get more adjustment with it than a spring that can't change rates. I run old springs from a 72 lemans (little shorter) to lower ride hight. One airbag at 20 psi. Stock parts counter shocks and a stock sway bar. The biggest help was the sway bar. Car leaves with both wheels 8" off the ground. My best 60' so far has been a 1.42. It is a 67 GTO running low 10.20's at 131.

An airbag in the passenger side with 15 psi takes care of this. But then where's the fun? Greg
