403 intake manifold pics

Does anyone have any good intake manifold pictures for a 403 that they could send me? I’m trying to find out where all the vacuum lines go. I do have a manual, but it shows several different connections for 350/403. I’m just trying to see where the vacuum switches go as well as what each vacuum connection looks like. I also need to find out how the oil-sending unit connects. Thanks in advance.

Ron,
The oil pressure unit connection is right above the water pump. There is a small fitting right under where the alternator sits. You have to connect bent steel tubing from this port to the sending unit that mounts directly above the fuel pump. The 403 in my TA is not a good example for vacuum connections..As I have none except for the distributor. I pulled them all off. I do have the pontiac service manual that shows where they do connect. Do you have this book. It is a green 1978 Pontiac manual. Hope this helps somewhat.

Yes, I do have the manual; my problem is that my nephew took off all the vacuum lines and the switches/fittings that they connected to. Some of them are missing so now, I’m trying to figure out what goes where and what I’m still missing. On the manual, there is a part that reads TACS. Any idea what this is? Also I have a fitting that screws into the intake manifold (I think on the back near the distributor) that has two nipples for two vacuum lines. I don’t see this fitting on the drawing in the manual. This fitting isn’t a ported switch; it’s almost like a tee (straight vacuum from the manifold). I was thinking this might be just for 1979 cars, but I don’t see this in the supplement manual either. That’s why I was hoping to get a picture of an intake to see what I’m still missing. Thanks for your help.

Did you ever find pictures of the 1979 Trans Am with the olds 403 intake. I am in a similar situation and am in need of some pictures to help route my vacuum lines. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
