After installing new clutch, throwout bearing, surface flywheel,I'm having problems with the clutch slipping and it is hard shifting gears.I've been told it sounds like I have the wrong throwout bearing as there is two different ones listed for the 67 catalina.Nobody seems to be able to tell me how you determine which one my car calls for. I pulled the trans back out and bought two new (both styles)throwout bearings and I can't tell for sure even which one is the correct one.If anybody has had any experience with this problem I need all the help I can get.

You have to know what kind of pressure plate you put in.
A diaphragm or Borg & Beck type.

Borg & Beck type you use a shorter bearing.

The diaphragm type usually use a longer one.
But some bent finger ones don't.
