The seller doesn't have a big rating and that's a lot of money for a crank. It is pretty rare though.

Guys, you do know there is no 'Buy it now' on it, so the winning bid is the last bid at the last second days from now.

it also says on there that bill reserves the right to end the auction early because it is for sale locally.

What HP level can this withstand with aluminum rods! Would it handle 750 with a 350 shot of NOS? I am thinking it would be better selling my nodular crank and buying this!! How about lightening the crank, how much would that help?
So many decisions, too many parts!!

I don't think it will sell for under $1000. Figure about $80 to ship with insurance. Then you have to recheck it to make sure it is good. Are you gonna cut it to fit a 3" main? Hard chrome? Nitride it? Knife edge? All that money into an unknown crank and it could still break. Tough questions, I know. I have $1500 into my 990 and will not put another nickle into it. I'll go billet first.

Someone will likely bid at the last minute (not me). There may be some last minute sniping too. Or, it may not get any bids at all.

I recently picked up a 990 crank from a well known gentleman on the left coast, delivered to my door on the right coast for less than $800. Such a sweet deal.

I am the one selling the crankshaft. Nothing is wrong with it and i just have a ton of people watching it. It was maged before and came out ok, since then it has been stored. It can be magnufluxed and checked before shipment at buyers cost. Thanks

Why is it that every time I mention "crank", Larry gets excited? Larry, you better take care of the lovely wife of yours, else Tom Vaught might snatch her away. http://forums.performanceyears.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

How much would it cost to buy a moldex, have it machined and ready to install?

I bought a raw 366 forging from Tom V.We got a price of $600 from a local crank grinder to finish it.After paying the frieght across country the grinder decided he did not have time to do it.NOW,if I want to get it finished,I will have to send it to Moldex, have it ground and pay shipping back across country again.Tom V might be able to help with what the finish price is from Moldex as he has had a few done.Tom
