How much does a 428 69 bonne weigh and where is this information available on line?

From the book "75 Years of Pontiac-Oakland," the factory listed weight for a '69 Bonneville convertible was 4,130 lbs. That may or may not be the actual weight. It doesn't say anything about the engine, but I don't imagine the weight of a 428 is that much different than a 400.
Thanks Stuart for the clarification, I saw something a few years back on my car's original shipping invoice that said 3,925lbs so just over 4,100lbs still makes sense.
The reason why I asked was a guy recently told me he thought my car weighed about 4,900 lbs and I thought I know it's a big un... but not that big, thanks again

It is hard to say but i have a 74 grandville and took it to the local scrap yard and weighed her it was 4900 with me in it http://forums.performanceyears.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif...Going to try a different scale tomorrow just to be sure its that heavy doesnt drive like 4900!!!!

oops by the way its a 2 dr and your's is a conv so it could be around the same...but my encyclopedia of american cars list yours as 4130 and mine at 4432 so i would weigh somewhere to know for sure http://forums.performanceyears.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
