I asked this over in the exhaust tech section, but got no response so I thought I would ask here. I recently purchased a set of pipes, mufflers, and resonators for my '67 GP. I now need a set of correct hangers. Anyone know of a source?

Thanks,
-harry

hangers for mufflers are the same as the gto ones, but the tailpipe ones are slightly different but I think you could get them to work as well.

Stock exhaust hangers (muffler and tail pipe) for a 1967 Grand Prix are COMPLETELY different than the GTO hangers. I don't think anyone reproduces them, but I have seen NOS or NORS ones available in the past. BTW - The original tail pipe hangers are designed to be used with factory type resonators, and therefore if one uses a tail pipe only out to the rear bumper, some modification of how it is attached to the hanger may be necessary.

Ok looks like I will need to do some part number matching. The pipes and mufflers I bought are supposed to be an exact match to stock including the resonators. As much work as the last two guys did to keep this car correct, I want to try my best to continue the "good fight".

Thanks again,
