View Full Version : The Buick 350 CID will no fit´s in the "Catalina"

..grrrrr...today we will take a test with the "interieurless" engineblock in the Catalina !! huayyyy the tranny fit´s !! but the rest !!! ;-(( ..the mounts will no fit ..the engine look´s like it are no in center (axial) position (is this normal ?)...we build new mounts and it looks better..but teh engine look allways "oblique" ! hahaha

we take the mounting kit from the buick !!..you know the otigin pontiac mounting kits maybe fits for the buick engine in the catalina ?

your best bet is going to be to find a set of mounts from a lesabre, electra, centurian or estate wagon for a 350 engine.

the mounts for 400's and 455 buicks are different from what i remember, and they are nowhere close to a pontiac design.


a wagon will be the best donor.
