I have a 70 1/2 TA with a BBC in it now. I'm chucking the Chevy and putting a real Pontiac in it when I get the first chance to finish my motor. I have a rotating assembly, block and heads but REALLY want to go Indian Adventures. I have saw some nice Pontiacs lately (close to home) and I am from the old mentallity of shifting these buggers at 5500 or less. Saw one go to 7000 once and NOT blowup, I'm now hooked.

Good man, I never understood the whole Chevy in a Pontiac idea. If you want a freakin Chevy engine buy a freakin CAMARO!!!!!!!!!!
This kid was in my work the other day telling me about his 77 T/A. He was like, "hey man, you've seen my T/A right?" I asked him what enging he had. "Oh its a Chevy small block 400, blah blah blah...." I just acted like I cared until he left.
