Can some one tell me the best way to route the battery cables on a 66 GTO with headers?

Battery in Trunk" : along driver side frame rail. Take a right turn towards the Starter. GND cable to lower Trans bellhousing bolt. Positive cable to Solenoid. Use solid Copper house wire strand to tie-off/dress the cable during transition from frame to starter.

1/2", I grounded my battery to a bolt on the bracket, on the tube chassis, for fuel pump. Have front and mid plates, no need for another ground. solinoid is mounted inside on the firewall and cable runs to the starter through a grommet.
