Can I use my stock rocker arms and balls on 7/16" BBC studs with crane cool nuts ? also will my stock valve covers fit ?

Your rocker arms and balls will work with the 7/16 stud. There are so many variations in length on BB studs it's hard to say yes or no on your valve cover question. Match the length (upper & lower) and everything will be fine.

I installed 7/16" BBC rocker studs on my 96 heads about two years ago and didn't have any problems using my stock rockers and balls.
Since then, I've switched to Harland Sharp 1.5 rockers with poly locks and I still can use my stock valve covers (no drippers) with no clearance problems.
I do have a set of dripper valve covers I want to use, but these may present a clearance problem so I'll have to check the fit when they go on.
