Oil pressure sending unit location

Where can I locate the electric oil pressure sending unit on my Pontiac 400? I'm relocating my oil filter and am using the plate that replaces the current oil filter housing. I'm told that I can use the plug on top of the block next to the distributor, however, I'm using an HEI ignition so there is no room. Is ther another point on the block that I can locate the sender? Any help is appreciated.

I use the back of the block with an HEI, mount it at a 45 or 90 degree angle with a pipe adaptor & fittings. It doesn't matter if it's away from the block. Later.

Yep, I used a 45 degree fitting to clear the HEI. Worked for me!
