Sorry if this has already been posted, but what are the two deck heights for the IA block?

If I figured it right the standard Pontiac deck, (with zero decked pistons), is 10.245".

4" stroke/2 + 6.625" rod + 0.99/2 wrist pin + 1.125" pin height.

My bench racing buddy and I like the idea of a 1.9:1 R/S ratio long rod motor with a 4" stroke, but it takes a tall deck to fit it all in.

A rod to stroke ratio of 1.9 is extremely good. However, it is also overkill in the extreme for a street/drag race motor. The very high ratios (1.8+) are only really useful in motors running at extremely high rpms for extended periods of time. Winston Cup motors dont have rod to stroke ratios that high. Modern sport motorcycle motors are typically in the 1.8-2.0 range, but these motors regularly see 11000 rpm. A more practical ratio range would be in the 1.6-1.7 neighborhood. Just my opinion.
