Who makes a respectable example of 60% black that is available in a spray can? I have many parts that I would like to paint myself during restoration and would like input on this. I have been using Plasti-Kote Engine Enamel Low Gloss and Universal Black on a Beetle I'm restoring. Anybody know how close these are to a true 60% and gloss black? Thanx....

Krylon semi-gloss Black!
Compaired it to the factory 60% sold in cans at the dealerships and it was the same!

Blackcat,
Thanks for the clue in. After I posted my original question I contacted the folks at Plast-Kote and talked with the "lab" about the gloss levels of their Engine Enamel black paints. Here's what I found out:
Universal Black (#203) is 85% gloss
Low Gloss Black (#215) is 25-35% gloss
Flat Black (#230) is 5-10% gloss
I asked if they made a 60% gloss and they said no that "that was an animal unto itself". Guess when you've been breathin' paint fumes all day you say stuff like this...anyway thanks for the tip on Krylon.
