I'll tell you where not to go...do not go to Keystone. Their prep-work is shoddy at best, in my experience.

Rayco. Middletown, CT

When I was in college and drove a truck during summers and breaks, I used to have to deliver stuff to them to be nickel plated.

At the time, they did all the zinc chromate plating on Canton's pans.

These guys do great work. They've done valve covers, air cleaners and most recently a remote mirror for me. Give them a call and ask for Chuck.

Call Customchrome 440-926-3116 in Grafton,Oh. I don't think that they do big stuff like bumpers, but they do everything else. I've had a pot metal headlight ring done by them and it came out excellent. They also do polishing, straightening ect.

I'm not familiar with all the cities in New York, so Whats the closest biggest city (ie... Buffalo, New York City, ) Let me know and I can probably give you the name of a good shop close to you. I work for a company that supplies the chemicals for the plating industry and have a national database I can look up for you.

Any suggestions for the Rochester/Buffalo/Syracuse area? Is it worth travelling up to Canada?
