Could somebody tell me exactly where the hood tach mounts on hood of a 67 gto, Perhaps someone has an original directions sheet?

If the original hood has the hole. Take a piece of paper and draw a template for location on the new hood. Most of the suppliers of the repro tachs have Instructions for placement on most models. I'am sure Performance years has them.

I wanted to know this also, is there a factory hole in the hood for a tach?

I have the factory detail drawings for the hood tach hole location at home, I can dig this information out and report back. Do NOT use the reproduction foot print for an original 67 hood tach for the stud spacing is different ! The hole is 3 3/4 inch diameter for the original I remember and the stud holes are .218. PM me if you want a copy of the original drawings and I can scan them/it. The overall dimensions of the reproduction compared to an original is different, including the shell size, length, height and stud spacing. I could go on and on about their differences if one cares to know these details.
