I just purchased a frame rail for my 68 firebird from Larry Cooper of Fabulous
Firebirds. It was such a pleasure to actually get what you thought you were
getting. His price was cheaper then any other offers given to me. He
shipped it right away and came as described. I just wanted to let everyone know this guy treated me right.

Fabulous Firebirds? Is that here in Missouri up near Cherokee Pass? If so, I bought a firebird fender there a few years back. The guy is so difficult to get ahold of, but has some great parts and prices. I got a good deal on my fender which was very straight and clean. If this is the same place, it's a good place to get Firebird parts.

Thats the place Aeolian_x,they are off Hwy 67 south, and above Cherokee Pass!Larry has been really big into racing his Firebrids the last couple of years,so he's hard to catch on the weekends. He bought a 1970 Firebird funnycar and is also racing a 1972/73? model Firebird.I'll post a picture of his cars on my Web Page for you to view.I've been through Millersville several times with my red '69 GTO.What year of Firebird you have?

Larry is a great guy and easy to deal with. I would highly recommend him! Last year I sold him a 76 Formula along with a trailer load of parts.

I also live about 50 miles from them. I have usually dealt with Charlie who works with Larry.
Overall have had good results. If you think getting ahold of them by phone is difficult sometimes, just try and drive there.

I have a 77 Specil Edition Trans Am that I'm finally working on now. I tried most of the summer to get ahold of Larry with no luck. Back when I owned a 79 'Bird, he was a little easier to catch at home. I didn't know he raced. hell, I didn't know that there were so many Pontiac guys in this area of Missouri. That's just cool. I thought I was the only one, or at least one of the very few. It's always nice to know that there are folks near by that appreciate and respect the Pontiac as much as I do.

Sounds like you have a nice ride Aeolian_x!We'll all have to get together some time and meet at the Jackson or Cape Park and have a Pontiac Rally of some sort! /infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
There are several Pontiac Owners around this area, some are daily drivers and others are for show and don't get out often for anyone to see!I have a friend off Hwy 72 that owns a red '66 GTO tri-power car,and another between P'ville and Jackson that has a very nice white '70 Judge hardtop. And Blue '66 has a sharp '66 GTO hardtop!Wayne in P'ville owns a nice 10th Anv. TA and his son has a '77 Black TA.

I know what you mean 74redGTO...they are located pretty far out in the Sticks! /infopop/emoticons/icon_eek.gif
It's awesome to pull in his driveway and see all those Firebirds sitting around! /infopop/emoticons/icon_eek.gif /infopop/emoticons/icon_eek.gif
