If a 469 motor has already been bored and line honed and the TRW forged pistons are already on the cast rods, will removing the pistons to have it balanced stress the pistons too much? Or would it be a simple task. I've heard that it is risky and wonder if I could make up for not balancing it by getting some aftermarket balancer.

No matter what you do, it would be a great idea to get an after market damper.
BHJ makes a great one that allows you to use the stock pully's and is not that hard on the wallet.

It should be balanced with the pistons and pins.
