My 326 needs a new fuel pump, running a 2-barrel now, plan to go with Pontiac 4- barrel intake later on. Is there any difference between these pumps?

According to the parts list the '66 T/6 1 barrel was an AC 40310 and the 4-barrel was AC 40508 while the T/8,P/8 was an AC 40373. As to fit, form and function, they all are the same and would work.
