I was wondering if anyone had an easy way to set a choke that was converted for electric or is it just adjust and test??

It is on my 1978 T/A with stock Quadrajet.

if you want to set closing of choke at room temperature set choke so choke plate just closeswith light pressure and tighten down

Don't know if this would help, but on a '73 442 I drilled out the rivets and set it one mark back of full rich, and then replaced the rivets with screws. It had to be close to full rich, or else the choke seemed useless.

Set the t/stat to 1-2 notches rich, then adjust the pulloff to approx 1/4" of gap between the top of the plate and the airhorn on the carb. This should be close.
