Headliner

I'm getting ready to remove the headliner in my 69 bird.

Any precautions I should take? I see headliners aren't that expensive, but this one is in good shape and I might just try to reuse it. Possible?

Assuming yours is not glued in but have the rods that run across. Mark every hole that a rod is in so you can put it back exactly as it came out whether it be new or old. The cardboard junk on the sides is needed to wrap up the material into it to hold it in place Really not that hard to do once all molding is off

Yup, I have the ribs. I'll mark everything and give it a whirl.
