I just received my new seat covers from PY. Excitely I opened them but to my suprise the front seats were the wrong red color shade, the back seats were the right color. What really took me back is that PUI sent me a set of used seat covers for the front. They had the holes and staple marks in them, but what was worse, there was rust stains from the previous installation all over the inside. I called PY and of course they took care of the problem, but this has set me back a couple of weeks+. This wasn't PY's fault, they were sent directly from PUI, but what kind of moron would send used seat covers and unmatching colors? The quality didn't exactly thrill me either. Extruded plastic trim instead of the same material that the seats are made of and the plastic trim was more like a dark pink. And I'm told that PUI is the best manufacturer of seats? Doesn't anybody care about quality and attention to detail?

I got a set of 68 Firebird PUI deluxe door panels that are so warpped they look like sh*t on the car. No they didn't even come close to fitting but you have to cut them before you realize they don't fit. I was advised to heat them up with a heat gun or hair dryer to straighten them. I was also told by the shop I got them from no point sending them back because they all seem to be that way. The shop also told me it usually takes them a day to get 1 panel to a resonable fit.

I don't know how they get away with such poor quality control. And being in Canada makes it tough to return anything with shipping and duty costs.

Should have fixed the original panels.

For the record. PUI does NOT make Deluxe(the molded type) door panels. Are you sure it was PUI?

I thought that's where my supplier said they were from. company name was removed from the box but the logo was a green Camero. The only good thing I can say about the panels is the color matched. I apologize if I got the company wrong.

I checked in my Early Bird cataloge lastnight and it lists PUI as the supplier for the 68 Firebird Deluxe door panels.
