Sounds like a smokin' deal to me. How much is a rebuild at the local parts store with a warranty. My other question is how many do you want? I'll even deliver to NJ if you want 5 or more. That block is a 1973 250 hp 455. What are you bragging about?

I haven't looked lately Jim, but I won't be coming that far north. Only to MD. There is a driveable 72 catalina 2 door ht locally for $1000. 455 2-bbl th400. The heads make the biggest difference. Compression ratio.

I am looking for a 455 complete core, and $650 including a trans is a good deal.
