Try E-mailing them at [email protected] or [email protected]. I seem to remember they were in the middle of moving at the beginning of the year. My address has them listed as Waldorf, MD.

Believe East Coast Goat (Mike?) & Partsmonster on e-Bay are "arms" of the same businessman. Both in business.

To keep up with them, you have to call about 4 times a year...they seem to move shops every other year or so, and it's always just before I need something!

Would the Mike in question be Michael Micknick? If so, he stiffed me in 1991 for a $40 oil pan in Carlisle. I made the mistake of paying up front with the understanding he would ship me the oil pan. I made many fruitless phone calls and never saw the oil pan. Seems like I heard later on that ECG went out of business. I don't have his receipt but I still have the old ECG business card.

That was years ago and I learned a valuable lesson. It also left a bad taste in my mouth concerning East Coast Goat.

If this is a different vendor you're talking about, I apologize for being off-base.

I'm not certain, but I think ECG went **** up several years ago with most of their inventory being bought up by Ron Johnson from Frederick, MD. Ron is still in business, however (Potomac Pontiac is what I think he calls his business).

I just bought a gto tailpan from a company on ebay and it came with a shipping label from East Coast Goat in Texas. I called the guy because it came with a dent in it and the box was torn open at both ends and there was zero padding in the box.
Anyway, he said they are just a wholesaler and they drop shipped the panel to me.

Probably the same people. Pretty poor outfit.

I bought a rim from Ron Johnson of Potomac Pontiac about two years ago and I asked him about Mike Miknick. Ron told me that he was not sure what happened to EGC but he just pulled up stakes and closed down several years back. Ron said he spoke briefly with Mike at an area car show but never learned alot of what happened.

I bought a number of things from ECG and never had and trouble. That was back in the early 1990's. Mike always seemed up front with me but it looks like he stiffed a few people over the years. ECG had a lot of used and some NOS parts and this was my first stop when looking for anything. Mike was even into repro parts before he closed down.

Mike, had some decent parts back when the picking were good.
The parts started to dry up in mid to late 90s muscle car boom so it made it harder to find decent and plentiful parts as everyone was now into the biz.

I talked with him when he was in Waldorf years ago..
He always did me right.

Mike is still in Maryland but he no longer uses the Name East Coast Goat, he now sells repo parts more Mopar then Pontiac. He stop by a year ago to look at some of my cars and he mention that he sold repo parts but that he still has some Pontiac parts left. I don't have exact address or phone # he stated he lived in Southern Maryland. You might want to look him up in the white pages not sure if he is listed.
