wondering if anyone has performed this modification. i wanted to know what drive shaft (if any) is a straight bolt on or will i have to have something custom made?

if you are aware of any problem areas with this type of swap, please advise.

thanks for the info!

Kev - Two things. First, why are you considering getting rid of the 4 speed? Second, if you are going to make the change, why not go ahead and use a T-400?. Then you can use the stock '67 T-400 drive shaft. If I recall properly, you will have to move your cross member back about 6", but that is easy.

hey jim! well im not ditching the 4spd. just a change/test for me. the reason for the TH350 is i have one that is somewhat prepped.

this is just an experiment for a season of racing.

thanks for the reply!!

I am not certain, but I believe you will have to fabricate a drive shaft. Someone should be able to lengthen a T-400 shaft. Call some drive shaft companies. If you have to go with a new one, it will probably be $300-400. I am making the assumption that the T-350 is shorter than a T-400.
