I used all VFN glass on my '66 Tempest (race, not street) and it all fit good and was good quality. It's been on the car for about 12 years now.

I've used 4 different suppliers to date. VFN, Glasstek, Unlimited and Fiberglass Trends. I will say Glasstek has very nice parts. VFN as well but the last 2 hoods I bought (both cowl induction style) took some time to get strait. Unlimiteds hoods are ok but I just bought one of there aero scoops and it took a lot of time to make it nice. Fiberglass Trends, well, I wont even go there. On a side note I did very recently use a steel Goodmark hood for a customers 69 Z-28 and was shocked by the clean fit and quality.

have a cowl hood for my '70 firebird through vfn. works great, uses existing hardware and low tension vfn springs. had a prob w/ first hood they sent, was as heavy as stock formula hood and they never really had a good answer to what happened, just a lot of finger pointing between people at vfn, finally they authorized pick up of first hood and sent current one i use. sorta becam a hassle dealing w/ them - took a month to just get them to authorize swap.
