I just wanted to say that over the last year and a half or so I have needed many used parts for my 67 GTO, after having lost some of the really hard to get as well as little hard to get parts not being made. Then, I posted a parts request here and Bill Mathers gtobill@yahoo sent me an email saying he could help me out. He knows his parts real well, and the best thing is that sometimes I don't even know what it is. But, bill will ask until he knows, and some how has what I need or close enough that it works fine. I have never had any bad parts from him. He's polite and understands not everyone knows a lot about these cars. And most of all, he's honest and fair. I just wanted to say that if you ever have second thoughts about this man, forget them. He's as good as they get, and putting the cars and parts aside. He's one heck of a nice person. So much so I hope some day before to long I have a chance to fly back to his area and while there get the chance to meet and thank him in person. Take care everyone.

two weeks ago I went for the pitch Jeg's had on free shipping. I really needed a set of gears as fast as I could get them since my car was on a shops rack and and I brought the wrong stuff for my rear end rebuild. So, I jump on the phone, and order the correct part number which was a set of gears for a 71 8.5" BOP rear axle. I get it before long, and the invoice, box says it's what I need. I go to the shop with the parts, they open the box and ask me why I brought them Ford gears? Sure enough, they were for a late Ford Ranger, not even close to the GM's. SO, it was late and the next day I called Jeg's saying what happened, and they had me read the invoice, the numbers on the box. And, said that I had what I ordered. If I wanted to return it, I would have to pay the shipping and a fee for having opened the box up. I still needed the correct gears, so I ordered them from another more expensive vendor and got the right set. Jeg's, is draging their feet about refunding my card, even thought they have the gears back for a while now. I called, and was treated like I am expecting a lot when it's only been a colple of weeks since they gears came back. Not so much the money, as it is the mess they caused and never even an apology about boxed wrong gears, and having to pay for the return, when even they had the correct invoice and part number.. Free, didn't turn out to be free at all, but rather very expensive.
