Has anybody ever used Gessler Head Porting in the NJ area? I know his car runs extremely well in F.A.S.T. competition. I only know one person who used Gessler for his heads, but he's had a lot of engine problems since then (not related to the heads), so I can't tell if the work was worth the money or not. Also, any good Pontiac engine builders in NJ area? I'm looking for a mostly stock rebuild of my engine (YS 400) and TH400. I think I've almost saved enough money. I need some ideas about cost and a good shop to do the rebuild.

Hansen Racing in Middlesx, NJ is one. Ask for Larry
I don't have his number here at home, but 411 will get it.

Pro Motion Performance in East Hanover. He was rated one of the top Pontiac motor rebuilders in the country by HPP a while back. He did a basically stock rebuild to my motor five years ago and all is well since. I can get his # if you wish but cn't find it right now. His name is Larry also.

A friend of mine uses Gessler for all of his Buick heads. I've seen his work first hand, and positive results at the track on a Buick 455. I'd say he's worth every penny.

Here's a link to my friends car on Gessler's site. --

I had Greg do the heads for my '67 HO car. I haven't assembled the motor yet, but he was a great guy to work with. I am going to be giving him my RA IV heads this summer.
