Hello, I need to know an honest and really good place to send my rally wheels to for restoration. I live in Oregon. I also would like to find a transmission shop in my area or close to it. That can build me a strong automatic transmission. So far all I come up with are shops asking why I'm trying to get a 200/700 R4 to work in a 40 year old car. And one place even said that trying to fit a Ford Transmission into a GM car was silly and that I should get a decent TH350 or 400. Because, in stock condition, nothing factory made can come close to hurting them.

Again, anyone know of a trans shop who knows how to build something decent? Thanks

Hello,
I had my wheels powder coated silver at a local shop. Then I bought the masking kit from Ames or PY and painted the center section charcoal myself. This is an easy job that you can do in an afternoon. THe wheels have been on my car for 7 years now and they still look great. Jeff
