Ebay Roller Rockers?

I was just wondering if anybody has done business with these guys and if these are any good. I want to get some full rollers, but I can't fit the high prices like Comp's and Crane's into the budget. Any info would be great.

Summit sells the Harland Sharp's for 215.99+9.50=225.49

I'd spend the extra 47.99 and buy the Harland Sharps.

Factory Direct has always been good when we bought parts from them..

Never heard of these but $18.50 for shipping! I think I would get some good used Harland Sharps or Cranes if you are going the cheap route. They are for sale on the board here pretty regular. Jim

I like mine... 068 cam 400 with 9.2cr. The quality is great IMO.

Yeah, I know of a set of Crane golds that I can get for $100, but one has the pivot busted. They would be around $140 after I bought a new one and had it shipped. I don't really want to buy used ones because one of my friends bought these used. The seller failed to mention that one was broke. So I am just thinking that if they are good, what won't hurt to buy them? And maybe I can get them discounted if there are two sets bought at once. But that is a good observation that you made. HS might be a good choice. Sorry for the long response.

I am running a 9.5:1 350 with around 400hp(at least according to a desktop dyno). But one question I have to ask, does HS make them for 3/8 studs? That is my limiting factor.

For the $26 swicth to big block chev studs,then you can run the better rollers and have the right (stronger) studs.I agree with others,post a listing in the parts section for some roller rockers and you might be suprised at what you get,I wouldnt hesitate to buy any parts from a member of this board.

For budget aluminum rockers I put smal block ford 1.6 rockers on my 428, they were about 40 less as I recall. Jegs generic I had a new box of HS at the time and couldnt tell any difference in quality. That was checking feel of the bearings, etc. So far they are working fine.

Yeah, I thought about tapping my stud holes, but I didn't feel ambitious enough to do that. I might make a jig for that. I might end up doing that. I don't want to pay somebody else to do something I can do at home, so if I do do it, it will be done by myself.

If your using pressed in studs I would tap them no matter what or find a set of heads that are already threaded. Dont even mess with the 3/8 bottleneck rocker studs.
