I live in central Mass - west of Worcester near Sturbridge... anyone have recommendations for an engine guy within reasonable distance? I'm 20 minutes to Worcester and Springfield is 45 minutes. Also it might be good to know who to stay away from!

Dave, We are having a Yankee Chapter POCI meeting this Sunday at 68 Bond Rd. in Charlton @ 2:00. There will be several people there who live in the area (including the host, Jim May) who know "who is who" in the area.

Here's a couple links for you. John over at J&M is very familiar with Pontiacs. I haven't dealt with guys over at NEDyno but John at J&M reccommends them.
