Well, my 2" raised center 69 GTO hood(and bumper) finally arrived at the port here in Holland, so I picked it up.... came home, unwrapped it and..... it turns out to be a standard hood. Not the 2" raised I ordered. After 2 months waiting and $400 in shipping costs, guess how I felt here on the other side of the globe.
I need the extra 2" height because I will be running a victor and an EV hat for the Procharger.
So I called them, told the story and they really felt for me. He is going to send me the correct hood, and will ship it to the port in FL, ALL FREE OF CHARGE. I only have to pay the boat freight, and I can keep this (wrong) hood I have now. I hope to sell it off locally and pay my shipping costs with it.
I am so very much impressed with their customer service, you can bet they will not be making any money off my business! That is such a great gesture, I am not used to! Thank you Glasstek.
