If I switch from a stock 305 sbc to a pont 400
what is the best way to handle having the fuel pump on the opposite
side of the engine block:
1 run a line from the old steel feed line under the oil pan.
2.run a whole new line specific for the pont
or is there a different idea?
It's for an 86 Gp Thanks

I ran mine under the pan up near the front balancer with three straps and used the pan bolts to put the straps on with

Thanks
sounds like the easiest route is the best.
I hadn't thought of mounting right to the pan but makes since.
instead of on the frame rail.

I just did this on my 67 Bird. Go to Autozone and buy a 3 foot length of 3/8" steel brake tubing. Buy a tubing bender (also at Autozone) for about 12 dollars. Get a coat hanger and get under the car. Bend the coat hanger to the right size/shape/bends that you need. Then bend the new tube with the bender and install. All you'll need is a small it of rubber hose to connect to the other lines. Works like a champ!
